Mcdonalds Casual Pay Rate Why Is Your Pay Very Low When You Are 16yr Old Compared To A 21yr Old ?

Why is your pay very low when you are 16yr old compared to a 21yr old ? - mcdonalds casual pay rate

I am 16 years old, live and work in an informal workshop Australia.I McDonald's, and the rate of pay is $ 9.80/hr, while 21 years had the same job, which I paid, this is to say it twice. $ 19.60/hr. Why is there a big difference if we are not the same job?
I know they are adopted on the age, higher costs and therefore must be Paid more, but that does not justify a pay rate of two times. I could understand if it is a specialist, a position the BAS degree or higher education, but it is only the preparation of the meal. Work is no brain needed, it is not like the 21 children twice a year, as much work as I (in fact, if anything, to do more work than I do) to.
Why the big difference?

Age discrimination! Well, because as times even harder and adults need more money. Taxpayers can donate money willy-nilly, because it is their money and want to be treated with caution.

One reason may be because the person grows older, more experience and know-how to multi-task. Another reason is that May is the younger people with what they receive is satisfied, and employers know that this. They know that they are a younger person, the rent and is happy with a little money, so they know that older people require a larger down payment. I think it contributes to the hope

You can make $ 19.60/hour Sales at McDonald's?

In any case, this person probably has the seniority level of higher education and / or additional tasks. Stay there for 5 years and see what you're worth. Or better still get an education, and McDonald's.
